This report summarises the key results of Lakes Water Quality and Ecology (LWQE) monitoring in the Wellington Region for the period 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018. The LWQE programme involves monthly monitoring of water quality and/or periodic assessments of submerged plant community structure and composition in selected lakes.
