Te Awarua-o-Porirua Whaitua Implementation Programme (WIP) is the culmination of careful deliberation, consultation and analysis led by the Te Awarua-o-Porirua Whaitua Committee. The most significant issues identified include: inadequately performing stormwater and wastewater networks, erosion in rural parts of the Whaitua, and modification of stream channels, mouths and the harbour itself.
