"You presumably did a 'business case' of sorts for the investment required to roll out the on board announcement system 

Can you please provide some info as to how many passengers each day you estimate actually need this service? 

What proportion of total trips per day does this number represent? 

Did you give any thought as to whether some routes (i.e. the various x / express services) may have an even lower proportion?"
