This report describes the effects of two storms which brought
widespread rainfall to the Wellington region during 4-7 July 2006.
It focuses on the meteorology and hydrology analysis of the
storms resulting in surface flooding and slips. These caused
damage and disruption in Wairarapa, Wainuiomata, the Hutt
Valley and Wellington city. This report includes rainfall analysis,
and river flows into Lake Wairarapa.
