One of the evaluation tools required to be applied in the
assessment of options for the Western Corridor
Transportation Study is a Planning Balance Sheet (PBS).

A PBS establishes a framework of objectives and sub
attributes and then scores and weights each item for each
option. A PBS shows the trade offs between cost,
performance and impact and can also be used for
sensitivity testing.
