This report describes a regional-scale revision of the geology and
conceptual hydrogeology of the Wairarapa groundwater system.
This revision has provided a context for local-scale information
and identified information gaps. Furthermore, this report
describes preliminary steady-state modelling that has been
undertaken to test the conceptualisation and to provide an
indication of the regional water balance.
