This report summarises the results of a groundwater quality
investigation undertaken on the northern Kapiti Coast in late
2008. The investigation targeted the impacts on groundwater
quality, particularly nutrient concentrations, of intensive
farming and horticultural development as well as the
expansion of properties at Te Horo Beach serviced by on-site
wastewater treatment systems.
