Search in document library

This report summarises results of the baseline groundwater quality
monitoring programme in the Western Wellington Region for the 1995/96
year. The monitoring network included 34 sites distributed throughout the
Hutt Valley and Kapiti Coast areas. The monitoring bores range in depth
from 6.0 to 114.3 metres and are generally used for irrigation, industrial or
municipal water supply purposes.

Results of sampling indicate groundwater is very high in the Upper Hutt
and Lower Hutt Groundwater Zones.
