A guide to assist with the interpretation of criteria set out in Policies 23 and 24 of the Regional Policy Statement for the Wellington Region. These policies require the identification and protection of ecosystems and habitats with significant indigenous biodiversity values. The guide is primarily for territorial authorities but may also be useful to resource consent applicants and planning consultants in the region.
