Step into the whimsical world of Wainuiomata’s very own enchanted forest and discover the magic hidden amongst the towering trees of Gums Meadow.
In celebration of Children’s Day, and as part of Parks Week, bring along your tamariki for a day of play and imaginative fun! Start off with a treasure hunt along Gums Loop then check out the fairy forest created by some of Wainui’s community and get creative with rock painting and fairy door decorating.
Don’t forget to pack a picnic and your togs and cool off in one of the clean and fresh swimming holes along the way.
There will be plenty of other kid-friendly activities such as face painting, nature play, bubbles, entertainment and more!
If all of that’s not enough, you can treat yourself and the kids to an ice cream from the food truck on site.
