Greater Wellington recognises that our communities live in everchanging environments which can cause changes in circumstances. Sometimes these circumstances can be difficult to manage and therefore we offer support where appropriate, to help our communities thrive.
Greater Wellington will consider each application on its merit and postponement will be granted where it is considered that the application meets the appropriate criteria and conditions.
If your circumstances have changed, please take a look at our Rates Postponement Policy, and if you meet the criteria and conditions ‘remission of penalties’ or a ‘remission under special circumstances’ please apply, using the link at the bottom of this page.
