Recorded lake levels at Lake Wairarapa and Lake Onoke are shown below. This year’s data are presented as a daily mean level and a monthly mean level with the long-term monthly mean for comparison. The minimum lake water level for Lake Wairarapa (as specified in the GW Regional Freshwater Plan) is shown by the shaded yellow area. There is no minimum level set for Lake Onoke.
Water levels have been recorded at two monitoring sites within the Te Hāpua wetland complex on the Kāpiti Coast since 2008. Below shows this years recorded daily mean water levels at each site in comparison to last year and historical averages/ranges.
